When is Season 2 expected to end?

Will there be an official announcement or snapshot date in advance?

When and how will the rewards/points be distributed after the season concludes (similar to Season 1)?
Any information or updates on the timeline would be greatly appreciated, as many community members are accumulating points and planning accordingly.
