I would like to share a suggestion to improve the quality and value of discussions on this forum.
I appreciate the effort to keep the community active, and I understand that ambassadors play an important role in supporting the ecosystem.
However, I feel that many discussions are becoming filled with short, repetitive replies between the same small group of users. In many cases, these comments do not answer the original question, provide technical insight, or move the discussion forward. They simply increase the number of posts without increasing the value of the conversation.
From a newcomer’s perspective, this can make the forum feel less informative and less valuable than it could be. Visitors often come here looking for answers, technical discussions, or meaningful insights. When they instead find long chains of repetitive one-line replies, it becomes harder to identify the information that truly matters.
I believe it would be far more beneficial if community contributions were encouraged based on quality rather than quantity. For example:
- Providing technical explanations.
- Helping new users solve problems.
- Writing guides or tutorials.
- Reporting bugs with useful details.
- Offering thoughtful feedback on OIPs and new features.
A few meaningful posts are much more valuable than dozens of “Great update!”, “Bullish!”, or similar replies exchanged between the same members.
My intention is not to criticize ambassadors or active contributors. I simply believe that encouraging meaningful participation instead of repetitive engagement would create a more credible, informative, and welcoming forum for everyone.
High-quality discussions attract new community members. Repetitive one-line replies rarely do.
Has the team considered encouraging quality-based contributions rather than activity-based metrics for community engagement? I believe this would make the forum significantly more valuable over time.
