Not having to store a 12 word phrase and maybe lose it or have someone find it, priceless.

Tbh, yet to explore it. I will definitely check it out. But from the review I have seen, it’s a good one

From what I see so far, the user experience is cool. I would say there’s high functionality. So far, it’s good.

I love how the new Onyx Wallet removes the need for the traditional 12-word seed phrase—finally, a much simpler and potentially safer approach to wallet security. The interface also feels very smooth and intuitive so far, and the functionality seems solid.

I quite like this onyx wallet and the amazing thing is that it is gas free and the other functions are also amazing! The team’s hard work and support from the community is very compact :fire:

It may remove the need but I would like the option. It would make it possible to restore your account in a wallet other than onyx. I currently could use that option to access the bridged cbwbtc i sent to my onyx wallet that shows 0 balance. Xcn and usdc.e sent fine and was unbelievably fast transaction I do have to say. Needless to say if i had access to my private key i could easily restore my onyx wallet address on metamask or similar wallet, add the onyx ledger as a network and acess my coins that onyx wallet fails to recognize and send it back to myself or bridge it back to base or ethereum network.

Yes, the need to keep the 12 words is gone, and you can easily access your wallet with basic features like logging in with your Google account. However, it’s still important to ensure the security of your wallet login methods. Losing your Google account, like losing the 12 words, can restrict access to your account. Regardless of the method, we must ensure our personal security.

Can it be used to connect for staking or farming ONXY tokens? I only get to choose other wallets when trying to connec tto staking

I do like the wallet however soon it will support multichain as the team said on DAO demand. It will only get better and better with time with more updates.
