# Onyx Points Activation For Goliath Stakers

Onyx Team,

I want to first commend the Onyx Team for doing a wonderful job in steering our ecosystem in these turbulent times. I wanted to suggest activating Onyx Points for Goliath stakers because as Ethereum stakers moved liquidity to Goliath their migration affected their Onyx Points accumulation since points are currently tied to staking XCN on Ethereum alone. I think it is important that those who provided liquidity to our Goliath Mainnet early on should not lose out in continuing to earn Onyx Points.

A lot of questions has been raised with regards to this.

Staking on Goliath means you no longer accumulating points because points system was specifically on staking in ETH.

I think it would be fair to consider this. But we don’t know how long season is going to still last.

Might be season 3 would be on Goliath

I think there should be considerations regarding this. But currently, staking still remains on Ethereum. I think the team could look into how to mitigate the point migration issue.

Good point. Thank you for your feedback I think team will definitely look into this and see what can be done. Btw keep accumulating points wherever you can as long as season 2 is going on.

Nice to see Onyx Points being activated for Goliath stakers — this is a smart way to reward early participation and align incentives across the ecosystem.  
It creates a stronger reason to stay engaged long-term rather than just short-term farming. Curious to see how this evolves and what kind of strategies the community builds around it
