# Claiming Staking Rewards

Hello - Glad to be part of this forum. I tried to claim my staking rewards and had my wallet that I initiated my staking from connected, however, I received an “alert” that the wallet address my rewards were going to was a first time use of a wallet address; and the address was not my wallet address. What do I do?

please clear cache of the browser and check if your system is not compromised

If it’s not your address for God’s sake don’t send it. Copy address to clipboard double check it verify it’s the right address then and only then send it. There’s a video on YouTube by Big BC finance to use as a guide. Hope that helps

Thank you. I did not send. I can’t delete the address that is in the receiving address that is not mine. I’ll check out the video you recommended. Appreciate your input.
